The Barbados Water Authority now has the green light to use the injection wells as part of the fix for the sewage problems affecting the island's south coast.

Confirmation of this from the BWA's general manager Keithroy Halliday who revealed the results of the much anticipated dye-tests on those injection wells

According to him the results are favourable and they are hoping to have the injection wells in operation by the end of May.

Mr. Halliday says they will continue to upgrade the south coast sewage treatment plant, but remain concerned that Barbadians are still not doing what they can to avoid certain types of garbage getting into the system and causing problems.
