The Grantley Adams Memorial School does not want to be left out of the expansion of sixth forms in secondary schools across the island.

Principal Valdez Francis shared his vision for the St Joseph institution during an event to commemorate the island's 52nd year of political independence.

According to Mr Francis, Grantley Adams' sixth form offering will be different to those introduced at other institutions.

Mr Francis intends to expand Caribbean Vocational Qualifications or CVQs for students of the school.
