Sagicor Life UWI has extended their lead in the BCA elite division and are on course for another title, after disposing of Counterpoint Wanderers in round seven by an innings and 29 runs.

Playing at the 3W's Oval, Wanderers made 201 and 105, while UWI scored 335.

Wildey made light work of the Barbados Youth at home, winning by three wickets, scores there, Wildey 231 for nine, and 77 for three, the Youth 184 and 118.

At Bank Hall, ICBL Empire enjoyed a seven wicket win over Gladiola, scores there, Gladiola 103 and 222, Empire 277 for nine and 49 for three.

And the game between Home Improvement Hardware Supplies Maple and Spartan ended in a drawn after rain brought a premature end to the match at Trents.

Scores, Maple 170 for six and 136, Spartan 291.

On Saturday BDF recorded a five wicket win over Crane Resort St Catherine, in the BCA Elite Division.

Scores at Paragon, St Catherine 138 and 238 for eight, the BDF 130 and 247 for five.

At the 3W's Oval, Johnathan Carter made 153 in UWI's 334 for nine against 201 made by Counterpoint Wanderers.

At SJPI Barbados Youth 184 and 48 for two, Wildey 231 for nine.

Over at Trents, Home Improvement Hardware Supplies Maple 136, with Chad Williams getting 6-47, Spartan 291.

Empire have a first innings lead against Gladiola at Bank Hall on day 2 of the 9th series in the BCA Elite Division.

Scores, Empire 123 for three and 277 for nine declared, Gladiola 103 and 64 for one.
