Strike action by the majority of staff at First Citizens Bank in Barbados saw the doors of at least three of the six banking centres closed.
And as a result some customers were forced to make alternative arrangements.
There's still no resolution to the dispute between the Barbados Workers Union and the management of First Citizens Bank.
Speaking to CBC Mr Paul said the two parties are seeking to find common ground.
Mr Paul says the outcome of those discussions will determine whether the industrial action will continue Thursday.
