A committee is being established to investigate what are being called questionable actions and decisions by the previous Democratic Labour Party administration.
Attorney General Dale Marshall says for too long there has been a perception that the political class can do as they want, without facing criminal charges and this must stop.
While making it clear that he is not engaging in a witch-hunt, Mr. Marshall says people who hold such high office must be held accountable.
The Attorney General, who is also the Member of Parliament for St. Joseph, was speaking to CBC News at the end of his victory motorcade to celebrate his election to represent the people of that constituency for a fourth term.
Mr. Marshall went on to talk about some wrongdoing by the previous administration which has already been discovered.
