Althea Dahrey Peter Née Zamore, of Oxnards, St. James and Rendezvous Retreat, Christ Church, former Registered Nurse of the University of the West Indies Mona Campus, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Edgar Cochraine Polyclinic, Barbados, Daughter of the late Johnis and Irene Zamore of Dominica, Wife of Dr. Hadrian Peter - retired Senior Lecturer of University of the West Indies Cave Hill, Mother of Sheryl Peter-Kirton of the Central Bank of Barbados and Brian Peter of Eric Hassell Shipping, Grandmother of Xavier Peter-Gooding, Dimitri and Zane Kirton, Sister of Viella Bruney of Canada, Derrick, McFord, Michael and Bevin Zamore of the U.S.A., Janet Corriette, Urban and Franklyn Zamore of Dominica, Cecil Zamore of the U.K. and the late Reuben Zamore, Aunt of many, Mother-in-law of Damani Kirton of Blue Waters Shipping, Sister-in-law of Doreen, Marilyn, Rosemund, Mabel, Allan, Vertillis, Egbert, Robert and Francis, Friend of Ilene Knight, Avonelle Grant, Ruby Best, Dr. Ronald Moseley, Dr. Herbert Marius of St. Lucia, Patricia Matthie, Paul King of Canada Agnes Bennett and many others.

A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the life of Althea Dahrey Peter née Zamore will take place on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Black Rock, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:45 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.

The Organist and members of the church choir are asked to attend.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Tributes will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Mourning colours are optional.
