Esmée Dolores Scantlebury, age 78, better known as “Linda” of Lower Castle, St. Peter, Daughter of the late Cecil and Elfrieda Scantlebury, Mother of Jefferson “Reynold” Scantlebury of Structural Systems, Adoptive Mother of Michael Clarke, Ryan Estwick and Michelle Mayers - all of Canada, Grandmother of Brianna Scantlebury and the late Shamiah Scantlebury, Sister of Lincoln Scantlebury, the late Elayne, Wycliffe, Emmerson and Canon Cecil Alvin Scantlebury, Aunt of Dr. Rhodri, Dr. Monica, Joy and Hamilton Scantlebury - all of the U.S.A. and Steve Scantlebury of CIBC FirstCaribbean, Cousin of Norma Douglas and Elliott Toppin - both of the U.K., Julianna Boyce, Dorinda Callender, Jeanel Vaughan, Carlisle Gilkes and many others, Mother-in-law of Christine Cumberbatch, Sister-in-law of Dr. Barbara and Elizabeth “Betty” Scantlebury - both the U.S.A. and Shelley Scantlebury, Relative of the Scantlebury, Gilkes, Boyce, Waterman, Toppin, Bovell and Edwards families, Friend of many..


The funeral of Esmée Dolores Scantlebury leaves St. John Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Wednesday, July 04, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. for St. Philip-The-Less Anglican Church, Boscobelle, St. Peter, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. for the Service of Thanksgiving, followed by the interment in the churchyard.


The Organist and members of the church choir are asked to attend.

Wreaths may be delivered to St. John Funeral Home not later than 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

The body will repose for viewing in the Chapel of St. John Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
