Elvis Dacosta Henry, better known as “Teegerd”, “Henry” or “Soldier”, of Lower Estate, St. George formerly of Chalky Mount, St. Andrew, Son of Charles and Hilda Beckles, Beloved Husband of Serlene Collymore-Henry, Cherished Father of Serkerra Collymore, Shakeil Collymore-Henry and Shanika Kellman-Pitt, Grandfather of Aze’la Collymore-Richards, Shakeifa and Nathan Pitt, Brother of Elton Greene, Sheldene Ray, Sybil and Roy Henry, Vista Vaughn, Osbourne and Anita Henry, Marva Marshall, Sylvester and Alfred Taylor, Rosalind Beckles-Forde, Gladstone and Wingrove Beckles, Brother-in-law of Onita, Oneal and Nicole Collymore, Tammy Beckles and many others, Father-in-law of Keith Pitt, Nephew of Elise Davis, Cora Waldron, Princess Pollard, John Kellman, Juliette Clarke and Eric Mapp, Adopted son of Jasmine Collymore, Llewelyn Arthur, the late Roy Brathwaite and Joseph Daniel, Uncle of many, Relative of the Beckles, Henry, Mascolls, Kellman, Boyce, Herbert, Green, Foster, Collymore, Carter and Mapp families, Close friend of many.

The funeral of Elvis Dacosta Henry leaves the Belmont Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, 24th January, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. for the St. George Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment.


The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.


Floral arrangement may be sent to the Belmont Funeral Home no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Transportation will be available from Chalky Mount, Chambridge Parks Road, St. Andrew at 1:45 p.m. to St. George Parish Church and back.

Viewing of the body will take place at the Barbados Cost Guard, Spring Garden Highway from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 23rd January, 2018.

Full Military Honors will be accorded.
