Albertha Belgrave, age 98, affectionately known as “Muriel” or “Muri”, of Ashby’s Land, Oistins, Christ Church, Founding Member of the Women’s Fellowship of Christ Church Parish Church and ardent supporter of The Democratic Labour Party, former Employee of George C. Ward Supermarket, Daughter of the late Lilian Belgrave and Ivan Corbin, Loving mother of Rosemary Lorde, Eleanor Williams and the late Cleveland Belgrave, Grandmother of fifteen, Great-grandmother of nineteen, Great-great-grandmother of ten, Sister of Viola Belgrave, the late Geraldine and Lewis Belgrave and Ruth Clarke, Aunt of nineteen, Mother-in-law of Clyde Lorde and Lloyd Williams, Relative of the Belgrave, Lovell and Perch families, Friend of many.

The funeral of Albertha Belgrave leaves Clyde B. Jones Funeral Home, Top Rock, Christ Church on Friday 20th July, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. for Christ Church Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:30 p.m. for a Service of Thanksgiving, followed by the interment at Christ Church Cemetery.

The Organist, Members of the Church Choir and Women’s Fellowship are asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be delivered to Clyde B. Jones Funeral Home, Top Rock, Christ Church no later than 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Tributes will commence at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation takes place at the Chapel of Clyde B. Jones Funeral Home, Top Rock, Christ Church from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
A collection will be taken towards the Church Building Fund.
