Walter Cleophus Best, age 81, better known as “Clea”, of Coral Land, Haggatt Hall, St. Michael, formerly of Ifill Road and Flagstaff, St. Michael, Son of the late Eileen Parris, Brother of Carlyle and Patrick Best, Diana Best and Merkel Forde - both of the U.S.A., Larson Parris of Canada, the late Oril Waithe and Camie Best, Uncle of Sheron Stephens of the Ministry of Health, Ingrid of the U.S.A., Patricia, Sherell and Kevin Waithe, Great-uncle of Wayne and Brian Best and ten others, Nephew of Gwendolyn Powlett, Cousin of Catherine and Roger Taylor, Winter Daniel, Jeffrey Best, Marcia Yearwood and many others, Relative of the Williams, Taylor, Walcott and Atkins families, Friend of Clement Selman, Lorna Nurse, the Wooding family of Flagstaff and many others.


The funeral of Walter Cleophus Best leaves Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. for St. David’s Anglican Church, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment.

The Organist and members of the Church Choir are asked to attend.

Wreaths may be sent to the Downes and Wilson Funeral Home no later than 12:00 noon on Thursday.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
