Carlyle Adolphus Alleyne, age 89, of Forde’s Road, Clapham, Christ Church, retired Waste and Service Inspector of Water Works, Son of the late Augusta Alleyne and Charles Thornhill, Widower of Eleanor Agard-Alleyne, Adored father of Patricia Downes of People’s Cathedral, Ancil “John” Alleyne and Angela Hope of Port St. Charles Development, Grandfather of Tempu Nefertari, Harriette and Carl Alleyne, Great-grandfather of De Carlo, Jaizon, Jasena, Shacara and Issa, Adopted father of the Agard family, Father-in-law of Joseph Hope, Brother of Olga Benjamin of the U.K. and Eudora Thornhill, Uncle of Sonia Thornhill-Browne of the U.S.A., Beverly, Bonnie, Barbara and Donna - all of the U.K., Sandra Lucas and Ronald Thornhill, Great-Uncle of Kerry and Kelly-Ann Lucas, Cousin of Gwen Chase, Relative of the Thornhill, Lucas, Nicholls, Agard, Blackman and Trotman families, Friend of the Clapham Community


The funeral of Carlyle Adolphus Alleyne leaves the Belmont Funeral Home, Belmont Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, 14th November, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. for the St. Barnabas Anglican Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment.


The organist and members of the choir are asked to attend.


Floral arrangements may be sent to the Belmont Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.


Viewing of the body will take place at the Belmont Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
