LIAT says efforts to improve the service it offers have started to pay off.
Marketing associate, Leia Walker, was speaking to CBC News as the car park of the corporation was transformed into a LIAT booking office.
Through a partnership with 98.1 the One, LIAT offered special discounted fares to all of its destinations.
And people jumped on the opportunity to save and fly.
Ms Walker says she was extremely pleased with the turnout.
So too was CBC's marketing specialist, Shayne Edwards.
The Barbados Tourism Product Authority's Marsha Alleyne says the LIAT promotion fits in with their I Am Tourism bounty competition.
