Police investigate as a man is found dead at a store in Bridgetown

A man was found hanging at a store in Bridgetown today, Sunday 21 November 2021.

Police are on the scene at a general merchandise store “Daily Depot” located on Tudor Street, the City, Bridgetown. 

Police received a telephone call at their Operations Control Room about 4:30 pm, that a man was found hanging by his neck from a rope attached to the roof of a building that housed the Daily Depot store. The scene is located on the third floor of the building.

Police visited and confirmed the report, while a medical doctor who visited the scene pronounced him dead.

Investigations are ongoing.
