During his brief visit to the island His Royal Highness Prince Charles received further insight into Barbados’ history.
This after he toured the National Archives.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with Responsibility for Culture, John King and Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Blue Economy, Kirk Humphrey were also in attendance.
The tour was led by Chief Archivist, Ingrid Thompson and also involved other members of staff.
Prince Charles visited Barbados to participate in the ceremony to declare the island a Republic.
